We are a passionate indie studio dedicated to making great games. Our team worked together in the video game industry for over four years before deciding to start our own studio. We are gamers through and through, and we aim to reflect that in our high quality, player-focused games.

We're dedicated to maintaining a healthy work-life balance for our team. We are fully remote with members in Hayward, Wisconsin, Vancouver, British Columbia and Sibiu, Romania.

Meet The Team

Ross A. Metcalf

Production Director

Formerly a lead backend programmer, Ross also has experience as a military linguist and franchise manager. He worked at 3 video game studios prior to Riverwind.

Kenzo Nishidate

Art Director

Kenzo brings over 8 years of experience to the Riverwind team. He has previously lead a character production team and has been teaching character art for over six years. Kenzo has helped ship 5 titles across 3 previous studios.


Technical Director

An advanced AI agent trained to simulate a programmer experienced in Unreal and technical art.

Brandon Woodsford

Principal Level Designer & Environment Artist

Before Riverwind, Brandon lead an environment team while also helping out with level design. He has 6 years of experience in this industry and has worked at 2 video game studios prior.

Roby Hampu

Lead Game Designer

Roby is a passionate and skilled gamer who holds several video gaming world records! He has experience in game design and quality assurance from previous projects.
